The Bible Institute Program is designed to provide comprehensive Bible and ministry studies to Laymen, Christian Professionals, Sunday School Teachers, Deacons, Youth & Bible Study group leaders who want a deeper knowledge of the Word of God to become better equipped for Christian Service but who are not desirous of the cost in time and money of a traditional degree program or who may not have completed High School. CBI provides through University, Internal & External Home Study courses the Swordsman Certificate programs affording CEU (Continuing Education Unit) Credit. Each course is one CEU; 30 CEU's are required for Graduation. Students completing the requirements will be invited to graduate at CTU regular commencement exercises.
CTU Swordsman Certificate courses can be taught in churches desiring to further the training of their laymen and leadership. These courses can be presented in University (1 1/2 Day, 8 Hour) or Bible Conference (4 night, 8 Hour) formats to meet the needs of the church. All courses are taught by qualified Professors of CTU. Completed courses earn CEU credit toward the Swordsman Certificate.
Undergraduate degree programs are informational, developmental building blocks designed to introduce the student to all aspects of Biblical, Theological and Ministerial disciplines, equipping him or her to better implement that which is learned in the work of the ministry. An important integral part of each undergraduate program is the inclusion of credits in Practical Christian Ministry (PCM). Entry into the undergraduate program requires a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Graduate level programs are practically oriented, academically rigorous studies designed to further personal and professional enrichment, growth and ability. An acceptable Bachelor's degree is prerequisite to all Master's degree programs. Each degree program requires the successful completion of the semester hours work including any PCM requirements and a written thesis in the major area of study.
Doctoral degree programs are competency - based and require the successful completion of six submissions of work or the equivalent semester hour credit. Competency - Based programs seek not so much to inform the candidate with facts as to measure his progress in learning and practical application within the sphere of the program.
